Hot off the success of Sicario and Hell or High Water, writer Taylor Sheridan makes a brilliant move to the director's chair with this chilling thriller (which deservedly earned him the Best Director prizes in Cannes' Un Certain Regard section).

When game tracker Cory (Jeremy Renner) discovers a body in the wilderness of the Wind River Indian Reservation, the FBI sends out rookie agent Jane Banner (Elizabeth Olsen) to investigate, and the two head out into a community devastated by drugs, violence, and the elements, to hunt for a predator of a very different kind.

With the usual great characters, dialogue and storytelling we've come to expect from Sheridan's writing work, this is an exciting - and bleak - look at the fringes of the American West.
