120 mins, Subtitled

This documentary about young Deaf children at Mary Hare Grammar school provoked a strong reaction from Deaf audiences when it screened late last year. Come and watch our fully subtitled screening that follows the travels of Fae, Lewis and Andrew at the Mary Hare boarding school for Deaf pupils.

After the screening we will chat with director Camilla Arnold, alongside Fae Al-Kalamchi and Lewis Hunt, two of the pupils in the documentary about the long process of getting the finished programme to the small screen.

The discussion will include live speech to text transcription and a sign language interpreter. All of our cinema auditoria are fitted with induction loop systems.
