Sofia Padelopoulou

Having received a bachelor in Communication and Mass Media studies with specialization in International Law and Diplomacy, I am currently working as an administrator at the Mayor’s Office in the municipality of Amaroussion.

I have worked at the Press Office of the European Parliament (EP) in Greece, where I was involved in mapping new digital contacts and generating media coverage of the EP work and initiatives. I undertook the organization of youth seminars and prize-winning digital games, like Europarty. I am a volunteer at the Hellenic Red Cross and a registered member of the Local Youth Council of Amaroussion (TOSYN).

I also paticipate actively as a member in the newly-founded Youth Committee of UNESCO in Greece trying to develop specific strategies in order to engage young people to push for change for children around the world.
