Thanos Kalligeris

My name is Thanos Kalligeris, I am 24 years old and I am currently preparing my diploma theses on Data Mining and GIS systems for the University of Piraeus. I am mainly working on website design/administration, databases, Data mining, GIS systems and programming. Currently I’m working as technical support staff in the Municipal Development Company of Amaroussion.

I am also actively involved in the Local Youth Council of Amaroussion (TOSYN). The Local Youth Councils are the enterprises that give youth people, from 15 to 28 years old, the potential for active citizenship to their own homeland. They form self contained configurations of active participation and contribution of youth to the local societies.

I am interested in the Engage program to find out new interactions of IT applications with young people and how these can help in various aspects of their lives.

My hobbies include martial arts, basketball and gaming.
