All films were broadcast on Kazakh Television. The public service French-German TV-Station „Arte„ brought their own crew to document the exchange for their programme. Further, films and texts on cultural identity have been produced in many other countries.

„Medienhaus‰ provides vocational training for digital media designers and is officially approved by The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Hanover-Hildesheim. Currently it qualifies unemployed people in the media field. For further films and texts about our cultural work please see www.net-view.tv.
„Medienhaus„ was one of the pioneers establishing new formats of broadcasting on the internet and was therein supported financially by the state of Lower Saxony for several years.

Since spring 2007, „Medienhaus„ is an official partner for media skills and media literacy of the city of Hanover according to a decision of the city council. In this context, the podcast-project for youths, „Abdrehen Hannover„, has started in January 2008 in co-operation with the department of education and qualification, „Haus der Jugend„ (House of the Youth), N 21 and „Medienbus„ (Media Bus).

E. Kähne, staff member and artistic director of „Medienhaus„, who has worked amonst others for Goethe Institut in Africa since 1990, has established many new contacts during his stays in Namibia and South Africa over the last seven years. These also resulted in an exhibition called „Blickpunkt Südafrika„ (Focus South Africa) which made possible the first presentation of all films by world-famous South African photographer Jürgen Schadeberg, an old friend of Nelson Mandela. His films have been distributed by „Medienhaus”.
