Join us for a special preview of Jane Schoenbrun’s hotly anticipated Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma – a new kind of horror remake from one of the most exciting new voices in cinema, starring Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson.

After years of slapdash sequels and waning fandom, the 'Camp Miasma' slasher franchise at the centre of the film is handed over to an enthusiastic young director for resurrection. But when she visits the original’s star, a now-reclusive actress shrouded in mystery, the two women fall into a blood-soaked world of desire, fear, and delirium.

Schoenbrun follows up their previous feature, I Saw the TV Glow, with this sexy, audacious ride into the world of cult horror films, sensitively exploring the nuances of how the media we consume shapes our identity, all in a playful ode to the slasher flick.

Presented in partnership with Not A Phase – a trans-led, nationwide charity committed to uplifting and improving the lives of trans+ adults, through awareness campaigning, social projects and funding trans+ lead initiatives.

This screening will be followed by a Camp Miasma-themed takeover in the Café & Bar, featuring a performance from Wendy Miasma and a DJ set from Bendy Wendy, alongside crafts and cocktails. Ticket holders for the preview can also enjoy a selection of additional candy toppings if they purchase popcorn!

Cinema seat widths

Our cinema seats are 46cm wide, with wooden armrests on either side of each seat that can’t be moved.

We can provide seats without armrests or bean bags as alternatives at the front of the cinema if that is more comfortable for you. Please just call our Box Office on (0117) 927 5100 or book in-person to arrange.
