Screenwriter Noel Clarke's sequel to his hit Kidulthood is set six years after that first slice of West London teen turbulence.

Sam (Clarke) has served six years for the killing of a local rival, and attempts to restart his life and win back the trust of those he let down during his teenage years of crime and violence. But making amends doesn't come so easy, and he finds himself the target of a new generation of bad boys.

A searingly authentic inner-city thriller, Adulthood is famous for out-grossing the latest Indiana Jones installment on its opening weekend in the UK. We're delighted that one of the stars of the film - Shanika Warren-Markland - will be introducing the screening as well as taking part in a special BFI Black Star The Link, Rife Magazine's free networking event for young people aged 16-24, which takes place before the film from 18:00 - 20:00.
