Wow – you go girl! Great short film, encapsulating the essence of a great lady. Wish I knew her so I could’ve gone to the Wake – it looks like great fun.
A really interesting idea, definitely thought provoking and a good starting point for debate around how people’s lives should be marked and celebrated! Good on Lis for opening the door…
I really liked this film; the subject was really interesting to me and I believe that lady has the right idea! I hope I share her philosophy throughout life. I liked how even though the film was so short, it didn’t feel hurried and you managed to include the opinions of other people, not just the main participant. It was really well filmed and edited.
Shame you only had 90 seconds -there was so much more I wanted to find out about Lis. A great subject matter with the potential for a creative story arc and creative camera work.
A fantastic and uplifting documentary which left me with a warming outlook on life. Really nicely cut, which added to the effect. Brilliantly captured and told to the world. Liz deserves and OBE!

Yes. You did a good job. Well done.
What an inspirational lady and what a good idea. Well done
Amazing video – both content and direction. Congrats all on your success. Well deserved. (John – Bishop Perowne College)
Lovely lady – great film – and what a good idea, let’s all have a wake before we die! Well done Nick!
Another good one. Not sure that 90 seconds does it justice and I imagine the real edit is longer, but still, interesting watch.
What a lovely film. You have my vote 🙂

Fantastic! What a fab way to celebrate your life and challenge the norm!
Every day is a new beginning, isn’t it?
You go girl! Reminds me of my 89 year old mother-in-law (doesn’t do abseiling but you should see her gardening!!!).
Great idea Nick – well done to put so much over in 90 seconds!
Such a lovely moving film, a wonderful lady and a great idea to have your Wake before you pop off! Marvellous
Excellent Nick and Mike! Really enjoyed that, and I’m very proud of you both.
Great film, wonderful inspiring woman, beautifully tailored film.
Amazing how much of a story you can tell in such a short period of time. Brilliant.

What a fascinating piece of film – all aspects of the why and the how to feature in your own wake. Lis and your film will take some beating !
Great piece of short film – so inspiring!

The subject is as incisive as your film. Well done!
You left us with wanting more! I love her attitude about life. Good work!
Splendid – her attitude is terrific and your film captures the spirit well
