Thanks Roger- filmed in Cumbria. Staying with my in-laws in Coniston for a few days just grabbed my camera and headed up the Old Man which overshadows the lake. Had the poem buzzing through my head so it start to fall into place visually throughout the day. It was very freeing- just getting out there and making something for the heck of it.
I was lucky enough to be at Dartington College of Arts with this man. I have watched him continually develop his arts practice and when I watch Adams work I do not have to try and like it – maybe I am biased – I don’t think so – I believe Adam has something special and his work is special.
Liltingly beautiful cinematography – his piece takes you to a place where time stands still, and you can truly contemplate what it means to be alive and on this earth. I love this film.
Beautiful and true
So relatable, those times of genuine peace, a wonderful depiction of a solitary feeling
Breathtakingly beautiful.
Beautiful. 5 popcorn buckets out of 5! Where was it filmed?

This was so unexpectedly moving I had a little cry. ACES.
Stunning cinematography and production values that you don’t normally see in this fantastic competition. Definitely my favourite.
Excellent. Keeps pulling me back to watch it again.
A really beautiful piece of art Adam. You are such a talented person.
Goood going Adam, it’s lovely to see your work at last and all that study paying off.
Beautiful. Amazing that such a short piece be so moving.
A small piece of loveliness…
really stunning – small and perfectly formed
Beautiful and gets in deep

I love it.
This is beautiful Adam x
Yes, Adam.
Can’t spell DepicT! without epic. Fantastic way to spend 90 seconds.
The film itself seems to make that space in your life in the same way that the hills do – exquisite work.
So moving. Beautiful. Xxx
Meditative and beautiful
The images powerfully reflect the spoken word (and I am a sucker for contrasty monochrome). Beautiful
