Go Kev! Brilliant piece of film. Love the editing and sound and it’s a very clever synergy of subject and medium. Particularly like the little sigh/mumble as the job’s done. Proper insight into a ‘labour of love’ – emphasis on the ‘labour’? lol. True craftsmanship on show from all concerned and a joy to watch. More please!! Well done Freya, you should be proud of this little gem of a film.
I liked this right until the end, which I thought was throwing to a punchline – a sign outside a boarded up old cinema saying ‘Closed.’ Never happened.
Great film capturing the work as I remember my father splicing up our holiday snaps it’s brilliant & the sound was true & the Machinery real history great lighting & to the point proud of you Freya as I know how hard you work xxxxx

Captivating
So interesting to see this. That it was once the norm, now so rare. Sound was atmostpheric and not being dubbed with music, refreshing.
Very interesting
Just in time! Within a decade would it be possible to make such a film? Gorgeous sound, takes me back a bit!

Experts like Kevan should be training young ones before everything in cinemas goes digital and the art is lost.
This has captured an artist at work in a skilful and insightful way. Beautifully done Freya.
