Description
This unique project, initiated by the British Empire and Commonwealth Museum and supported by BBC Bristol and Watershed, enabled four artists to dig into the Museum's exceptional archives from India and Africa to produce two short films. The artists are poets Baljinder Bhopal and Roxana Freeman and musicians Les Du Cann and Nathan Ng. In pairs, they have composed a musical score and written a piece of poetry to reinterpret the colonial perspective.
