Description
Art Tea was an afternoon event using Spike Island's van and travelling camera obscura. It was parked in strategic places at bus stops and Annabel invited people to have a cup of tea and view the route from the van - a warm and dry waiting area of the van is where they see the image projected through the lens of the camera obscura. The cup that they are drinking from is a limited edition artwork and has on it a photographic image of the view that can be seen through the camera obscura's lens. Those who participate can take the cup home with them. A new cup is produced for each site making a 'collection' possible.
