A Glasgow-based Singaporean, Ramesh is a multi-faceted theatre practitioner who creates performances using an eclectic mix of visual and physical theatre styles. Ramesh continually seeks to develop and extend his theatrical visual vocabulary and is now incorporating circus techniques within his work. He enjoys the challenge of creating strong narrative performance.
For the past 10 years, his solo performances and collaborations have toured nationally and internationally to much critical acclaim. He has been nominated three times for Best Actor at the Life! Theatre Awards (Singapore), being awarded the accolade for GIN & TONIC & PASSING TRAINS in 2007.

Ramesh is currently in receipt of an Unlimited Commission, part of London 2012′s Cultural Olympiad for the creation of a new project called SNAILS & KETCHUP. He is artist in residence with Solar Bear, a project partnered by the National Theatre of Scotland and the Arches.
