#SPselfies – who’s going Carnival this year?

Can you believe it? This poor innocent boy from the Midlands has never been to St Pauls Carnival! This disgusted us all at Rife magazine because we firmly believe it’s a rite of passage for any Bristolian. We do not take this lightly… and seeing as it’s carnival this weekend (5th July 2014), we’re sending Jon to experience this essential Bristol institution. We even created a list of ‘seven things everyone must do at St Pauls Carnival’ for him. Jon has from 12pm-9pm to complete each of these seven challenges. He must post a selfie or Vine as proof of him completing all these tasks. This way, his first experience at Carnival will be the same one we all have had. We want YOU to join in… do you think you can take a better selfie…?
- Find a vegetarian dish (good luck with that one)
- Show us your best dance moves in the parade
- Use the toilet in someone’s house
- Stand as close as you can to a bass bin without popping your eardrums
- Buy a string vest and wear it
- Take a selfie with a Rasta
