Hello! Rife Magazine ceased publishing new work in July 2022.

We've kept the magazine online as an archive and hope you'll still continue to enjoy all of its contributions from the last 8 years.

Digestible Politics: Infographic Breakdown

Still unsure about how each political party promises to make your life as prosperous and fulfilling as possible? Yero Timi-Biu breaks down the policies affecting young people from manifestos released by the Conservatives, Green, Labour, Liberal Democrats and UKIP.

As promised, we’ve looked at the core issues affecting young people today and dissected the main parties’ manifestos. The issues include education and further development (internships and apprenticeships, personal income and housing).

As noted in Digestible Politics: Why Your Voice Matters, many parties and followers veer towards one or two main issues, this means that other issues for specific demographics (such as young people) aren’t labelled as a priority.

Just so we don’t give you a headache, I made some infographics to highlight the key promises from the major parties:

Keep It Local

To find out who your local MP is for Bristol North West, Bristol East, Bristol West and Bristol South, you can check here by putting in your exact postcode.

We hope this information helps you make a well-informed decision when it comes to May 7th, or at least a better understanding of the  type of policies agreed upon that help shape our future.

Part three of ‘Digestible Politics’ will be with you tomorrow.
