Everything You Need To Know About Vybe Festival 2015
The biggest youth festival in Bristol is back… why don’t you come and join in the fun?
This year, Vybe Festival is returning to The Station on Saturday, 25th July 2015, between 2pm and 9pm.
If you didn’t go to Vybe Festival last year, here’s Little Ryan and Shin_LoveLife’s handy roundup video:
What is Vybe Festival?
Vybe is a festival for young people, mainly focusing on music and art. It was originally started as a music showcase but now it also includes various multimedia art projects too. It’s a day for young people to come and show off what they have been doing. This could be anything from singing to performing, dancing to circus acts.
What’s different this year?
Vybe Festival has made more progression this year because more people are getting involved. This year, they’ve expanded from three stages to four. The first stage is an ‘Open Mic’ one where young people who haven’t performed before can show off their talents and build more confidence through performing. The second stage is young people who have performed a few times before. Temple Records’ exciting roster of up-and-coming bands fill the third stage. The final stage is for the big guys, the headliners, a mixture of Bristol and national talent.
Who’s performing?
Along side all the young volunteers who will be performing on the day there’s also some well-known headliners:
Mic Righteous
Eva Lazarus
Buggsy
Gardna
Bellatrix
with special guest: Lady Leshurr
What to look forward to this year?
• The powder paint fight where everyone can get involved and feel like they’re at an inner-city festival.
• Graffiti workshops for those who want to try something new.
• Chill zones/food stalls/workshops
• And to kick off the day the Battle Royale Fashion Show
