The Link Is Coming Back: Thursday 12th May
The Link, Rife Magazine’s networking event for young creatives in Bristol is back, as part of Digital Bristol Week.
Join us at the Watershed on Thursday 12th May from 7:30pm-9pm
Four months ago, we hosted The Link: a networking event for young creatives to meet people, chat and find out what’s going on around Bristol. I’m really excited to say that it’s back again, and this time it’s a part of Digital Bristol Week. Join us at the Watershed on Thursday 12th May from 7:30pm-9pm in the cafe/bar for the second event.
For those of you who came last time, you might ask ‘since you’ve made such useful and insightful links, what the point of coming again?’ Well I don’t know about you, but it felt as though there were loads of people who I didn’t get a chance to talk to last time. Personally, I’d love to A) meet the people I didn’t get chance to talk to and B) find out what’s new with the people I did talk to.
This time, the event is going to be a part of Digital Bristol Week, so we’re hoping to give this event a digital slant. However, that’s still an open ended-approach. Do you run an online magazine? Are you an animator? Do you digitally produce music? Do you work on robots? Hey, even if you’ve only got an interest in any of this stuff, then The Link will be a perfect space for you.
So, there are two things you can do if you’d like to get involved:
Firstly, if you consider yourself a young person, come along on Thursday, 12th May from 7:30pm till 9pm. Come down, meet some people and have fun
Secondly, you can spread the word. This event works best when a wide variety of people come, so tell your friends, co-workers, family – anyone that you think might be interested.
