Yep, we’ve made our own juniper-based spirit and guess what we’ve called it? Drum roll please… Watershed Gin! Good eh? Well, we like to keep it classic (just like our blend).

Watershed Gin was crafted by our very own Head Chef Chris Warren and our Catering and Operations Manager, Helen Round, on a visit to the award-winning Devon Distillery in Dartington. Together they hand-picked all of the flavours and created a smooth blend of botanical ingredients with a fruity base.

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, Watershed Gin features 11 locally-produced botanicals; juniper, tangerine peel, lemon peel, angelica, fresh lime, coriander, black pepper, thyme, orris root, grains of paradise and caraway. It’s best served neat (trust us) or simply with tonic water and a slice of lemon.

Helen Round, Catering and Operations Manager, said:

“When we were given the opportunity to work with Devon Gin Distillery we leapt at the chance to create our own distinctive gin, totally unique to Watershed. We think it’s rather special – fresh and smooth – and we’d love to hear what you make of it too!”

“Working alongside Helen and Chris has been absolutely brilliant. We make great gin and when the process is infused with such enthusiasm, well, the gin just gets better!

To have a vegan product that has been created using some of our finest selected handpicked botanicals makes for a magical blend. As the autumn evenings draw in the tangerine peel, angelica and fresh lime dance on the pallet, while the more discerning will pick up the pepper and heat of the grains of paradise.
