The Pervasive Media Studio, a collaboration between Watershed, University of West of England and University of Bristol, which is in the Watershed building, just beyond the Café & Bar. The Studio hosts a brilliant community of over 150 artists, creative companies, technologists and academics exploring creative technology. Applications to join the Studio are open all year round. Circle/دایره, by Roxana Vilk/Vilk Collective and Pervasive Media Studio residents Squidsoup, explores themes of inclusion, immersive experiences and shared spaces. The prototype expanded the distinct AudioWAVE technology, a system of networked light and sound devices, into a unique spatialised tool for live performance.
The project was funded by Bristol and Bath Creative R + D as part of the Expanded Performance commissioning scheme produced by Watershed.
