Are you aged 18-25 and love watching short films? Would you like to be involved in choosing the Depict programme this year?
Depict is Watershed’s 90 second short film competition which is part of the Encounters Film Festival. We’re looking for three 18-25 year olds to work with us as a pre-selector for Depict 2022 .
What’s involved:
- If you are selected you will be given an introductory online session on how to approach being a pre-selector
- You will need to watch and rate up to 150 shorts (90 secs each) from 6th – 20th June 2022 (this can be done remotely)
- You will take part in a final shortlisting session in person in Bristol (late June) – approx 2 hours / travel bursaries are available
You will get:
- A £150 Freelance fee
- Access a briefing on Shortlisting with the Depict & Encounters team (early June 2022)
- Experience of pre-selecting shorts for a prestigious industry platform
- Access to the Depict Showcase & Awards at Encounters Festival (27 Sept – 2 Oct 2022)
- A professional industry reference & a mentoring session on request
