These 1:1 meetings are aimed at filmmaking crew who haven’t yet connected with the BFI NETWORK South West and would like to introduce themselves, share projects, or ask any questions they might have around the Short Film and Early Development Funds.
We advise that you read the relevant guidelines ahead of booking a session as these may answer particular questions around the funding opportunities:
Early Development Funding Guidelines
All 1:1 meetings are kept to strictly 30 minutes and can be hosted either via zoom or via phone.
Alix is the Talent Exec for BFI NETWORK South West, and is here to talk over any questions you have about upcoming opportunities and funding, projects you are working on (At any stage of development), and anything filmmaking.
This 1:1 session is for those who have not previously had a meeting with our talent exec, so please do not reapply as to ensure there is time for all interested.
Zoom meetings can be made accessible, live captioning is one option we have – so please let us know when you sign up if you have any access requirements.
If you are interested in connecting with other filmmakers in the South West, make sure you sign up for our NETWORKED event, which is a group session made to generate introductions and conversations. Once real life meetings, being online has meant that more people from all over the region are able to converge via the magic of Zoom.
