BFI FAN: EDI in Focus – Accessible Cinema for Blind Audiences

    Online
In the fourth session in BFI FAN’s EDI: In Focus webinar series, BFI FAN’s EDI Champion, Charlie Little, will be joined by BFI’s Inclusion Partner, Clare Baines.
This interactive presentation – featuring case studies, examples of best practices and resources – will examine how exhibitors can meaningfully engage blind and partially sighted audiences. There will be a focus on anti-ableist actions, advocacy-based behaviour and organisational awareness of disability. Topics will also include audio description, venue access, accessible communications, and approaches to programming.
