On the second Tuesday of each month, from 11-11:45am, we’re hosting a drop-in coffee break and online chat for filmmakers based in the South West of England (we cover a huge area from Cornwall through to Hampshire: see our FAQs page here). We know many of you find it hard to travel across the region to connect with fellow creatives, so we wanted to create a safe and informal space (on Zoom) for us all to meet and have a chinwag about your creative practice. Join us for 10, 20 or the full 45 minutes, grab a hot drink and a biscuit and enjoy!
* Please note that although BFI NETWORK South West will be hosting this session it’s very much your space to connect with fellow filmmakers, share ideas and tips and hopefully come away feeling refreshed and inspired!
The Zoom link will be emailed to you in your booking confirmation email.
Please register as places are limited, and keep an eye on our newsletter and socials for more mixers and events!
Making Waves Film Festival organisers Roy Hanney and Yael Friedman talk about the benefits of attending Distributor Slate Days in order to build relationships with distributors.
We’re pleased to announce Beyond Shorts, a career-development programme designed to elevate south west-based producers and directors who have a strong track record in screen-based work and are ready to take the next step into making features or high-end TV.
