Workshop: Making online film events accessible

    Zoom
Every other Thursday Film Hub South West hosts an online meet-up for Members, creating a space to share experience, make connections and keep in touch.
Alternate sessions have a specific focus on an area for development or support that responds to the needs and requests of our members.
Creating and increasing opportunities for more people to access the cinema experience and be included is core to our work and will remain a major priority in our future plans and our funding streams.

For our first workshop of 2021 we are delighted to welcome SQIFF Co-founder and Producer, Helen Wright, and Freelance Accessibility Consultant, Charlotte Little, to lead a session on how to make online film events accessible particularly to D/deaf and Disabled audiences. The workshop will cover use of different online software and platforms, accessible communication, and how to integrate access support provision such as live captioning and BSL-English interpretation to events.

Please note that this event is for members of Film Hub South West and the wider FAN membership. Film Hub South West Members will have priority. To find out more about membership please visit our website here.
