Lynsey juggles her life looking after the elderly at a nursing home and her six-month-old baby. The relentlessness of her routine blur the boundaries between work and personal life, merging her baby and her elderly patients into one and the same.

Carolina Petro
Originally from Colombia, Carolina is a filmmaker living in Bristol, UK. She studied philosophy as an undergraduate in Bogota and later obtained an MA in filmmaking from the London Film School in London. Her films have gained awards such as The Best of British at Encounters Film Festival and have screened at prestigious film festivals including Palms Springs and Aesthetica. In November 2021, Carolina finished her latest short film funded by the British Film Institute – Sweet Little Despair. In 2020 Carolina received the Early Development fund from the BFI to write her first feature treatment set in Bogota, Colombia. From 2015 until now, Carolina worked as director and editor at Picture Imperfect. The company develops corporate content and music videos, short films, and documentaries.

Nicholas Jones

Nicholas Jones is a producer/director living in Bristol. He develops fiction and documentary with his production company Picture ImperfectHis films have screened at Academy and Bafta qualifying film festivals, including Aesthetica, Leeds, American Doc Fest, Encounters Festival and London Film Festival. He has won numerous awards, most notably winning Best international Short at The American Documentary festival in 2020. He is currently developing a feature-length documentary.
