Dirt In The Gate Movies

Passionate repertory 35mm film exhibitors keeping the traditional film experiences alive and enabling audiences to witness a unique viewing experience in a world dominated by Digital technology.

Recent highlights have been 35mm screenings with special guests such as Eileen Deitz (actor, Exorcist) and Nicholas Vince (Hellraiser, Nightbreed). We have been fortunate to see audience numbers grow primarily as the appeal of seeing original film prints casts a wide net where we have seen guests travel from all corners of the UK and recently as far as Hamburg, Germany.

Collaborations with CPC (Cinema Printing Company) have also opened the door to low cost brand new 35mm prints where we have screened Treaters (2017) from local production company Treehouse, Arrow’s Blade Of The Immortal (2017), Salt (2018) and Daughter Of Dismay (2019). Our mission is to keep authentic film in the public eye for as long as possible and often dig deep to source rare film prints and the associated licenses which is a sometimes challenging but ultimately rewarding process.
