The Kings Theatre

The Kings Theatre is a Grade II* listed Edwardian Playhouse. It is primarily a venue for live performances (musical theatre, dance, opera, music, comedy). We usually programme film 4 screenings a year as part of our regular programming: a sing-a-long experience, It’s a Wonderful Life, Mountain/Ocean Films. In 2018 we began showing dementia friendly film screenings and this, alongside other specialist film screenings, are areas we are keen to develop as part of funded projects via our Learning and Community Engagement department.
