BFI NETWORK Film Funding has reopened!

We are excited to announce that BFI NETWORK Film Funding has reopened for applications from filmmakers and animators based in the South West of England.

The BFI NETWORK Short Film Production Fund and Early Development Feature Fund both support live action and animation projects from filmmaking teams based in the South West of England. Our regional Talent Executives work directly with the selected funded teams, and will deliver the projects in the South West region.

BFI can provide assistance to applicants who are D/deaf, hard-of-hearing, Disabled or neurodiverse people, and people with sight loss, where this support is needed in order for someone to make an application to the Film Fund. Visit Access support for BFI Film Fund applicants for information.

BFI NETWORK South West supports, develops, and champions new filmmakers looking to kick-start their career.

Below we round up what funding is available, as well as additional information

Applications close on Monday 2 May, 2022 – for both funds.
