Watershed in its role as Film Hub Lead Organisation for the south west as part of the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN) is supporting a range of projects by film exhibitors from across the region .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the support of BFI awarding National Lottery funding, 22 Film Hub South West member organisations accessed support through open call to our Film Exhibition Fund (FEF)<\/strong>, the Audience<\/strong> Pitch Pot<\/strong> and BFI FAN\u2019s UK wide season Rip It Up<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The activity supported reflects the breadth of film exhibitors across the South West and the different ways that organisations are working to develop audiences and creating opportunities for people to engage with cinema in different ways.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Film Exhibition Fund <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Film Exhibition Fund supports film exhibition activity that develops audiences and increases opportunities to experience a diverse range of cinema across the South West. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting Grindfest 26<\/em> and eight standalone 35mm screenings at the Regent in Christchurch, bringing archive and cult cinema to regional audiences alongside introductions, archival trailers and discussion. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Supporting FLY!<\/em>, a season of five films directed by historical and contemporary Black and global majority women filmmakers, each accompanied by an event encouraging discussion and collective engagement. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
