With an exciting in-person festival, Cornwall Film Festival is back for its 20th<\/sup> year!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Happening between Monday, 15th<\/sup> November <\/strong>to Sunday, 21st November 2021, <\/strong>the festival offers an entertaining, distinct programme of films \u2013 from international award winners to local shorts \u2013 Q&As, masterclasses, and industry events. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taking centre stage is the climate, with the important CORNWALL CLIMATE STORIES, <\/em><\/strong>a series of spectacular films presented by real people talking about their own experiences, highlighting the local side of a global crisis. Paired perfectly with Director Liz Garbus\u2019 latest feature, which dives into the life of environmentalist and undersea explorer Jacques BECOMING <\/strong><\/em>COUSTEAU.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Audiences will have the opportunity to see three short programmes, including the prestigious Cornwall’s International Shorts Programme, Student, and South-West best regional shorts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is plenty on offer for filmmakers too, as Cornwall Film Festival partners with BFI NETWORK South West for a discussion with Cornish filmmakers on their journey from funding to filming. Additionally, there is the chance to watch a screening of past funded projects, and ask any questions you might have to Talent Executive Alix Taylor \u2013  followed by a networking lunch featuring pints and pasties.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating space for younger cinemagoers, Cornwall Film Festival<\/strong> is offering reduced ticket pricing for all <\/strong>16\u201330-year-olds. Tickets pricing begins at \u00a35 with full pricing information available on the website. What\u2019s more – \u00a32, \u00a34 and \u00a38 Pay what you can screenings <\/strong>on all short films programmes <\/em><\/strong>and select features.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Festival closes with the Berlinale Golden Bear winner BAD LUCK BANGING OR LOONY PORN<\/em><\/strong>Director Radu Jude (Aferim<\/em>!) delivers an incendiary mix of unconventional form, irreverent humour, and scathing commentary on hypocrisy and prejudice in our societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
