Beyond Boundaries 360\u202fis a FREE collaborative development programme for South West based individuals and small organisations who are interested in cultural film curation, event production and audience development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Beyond Boundaries 360?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Beyond Boundaries 360 is the perfect starting place if you’re just starting out in the industry and looking to build up your industry networks as well as get support to access funding to put on your own film event(s). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over a five-month period (Oct 2024 \u2013 March 2025), participants will work collaboratively in a series of interactive sessions to develop film events from idea to screen, utilising knowledge gathered over the sessions, in tandem with their own experience.\u202fYou can expect practice-based insights from industry experts (such as cinema programmers, festival curators, marketing experts), Beyond Boundaries alumni and peer participants as well as space to develop your own curatorial voice and ideas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme sessions will be a mix of in-person workshops at Watershed in Bristol and via Zoom online.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Film Hub Community Manager Neil Ramjee<\/a>, and the wider team, are on hand to offer 1-2-1 support  as well as make introductions to other organisations in response to individual needs or project development.\u202fParticipants can also access bursaries to support travel, accommodation, enrolment fees or accreditation costs to enable your attendance at the workshop and relevant conferences, events and film festivals (up to \u00a3100 per participant). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ideas developed through Beyond\u202fBoundaries\u202fwill have the chance to be pitched to cinemas and partner organisations in the South West region and be put forward for consideration for National Lottery funding from Film Hub South West and BFI, to put on your events.\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who can apply?<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Beyond Boundaries 360 is open to\u202findividuals based in the South West region that are committed to bringing their film event ideas to audiences on the big screen and who\u202fare excited to collaborate with others .  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We welcome those who are at the\u202fearly stage of their career in film exhibition, and\/or who wish to move into cultural film curation from another sector. We are also open to applications from individuals that lead or are part of a small company\/organisation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please ensure that you have the time to take part in this programme (see draft schedule below). To gain the full benefit of Beyond Boundaries 360, we strongly encourage applicants to attend the majority of the workshops. \u202f <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u202fare particularly encouraging applications from those from a background that is *underrepresented in the film\/screen industries <\/p>\n\n\n\n

(*for example, you are from a community that experiences racism, you did not go to university, you had free school meals as a child, if you identify as LGBTQIA+, you are a disabled person (as defined by the Equality Act 2010)).<\/sub><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selection criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This opportunity is for people based in the South West region: Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, West of England, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Isles of Scilly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
