This week, to celebrate Watershed's birthday, I was asked to write a blog for The Telegraph about The Pervasive Media Studio. Entitled 'Technology that makes the world respond to you' the article explains a bit about the studio and why I think there are a million more interesting things you can do with pervasive media than location-based check-ins.
The article features Watershed’s 30th birthday, Stand + Stare Collective’s Theatre Jukebox, Danceroom Spectroscopy, and REACT, the £4.8million creative economy hub that is a collaboration between the University of the West of England, Watershed, and the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
