Bristol businesses gathered at Watershed to sample our new menu and their feedback shows it went down a storm!
More than 40 local business clients turned out for the launch of our new Conferencing menu in an event hosted by Dick Penny, Watershed's Managing Director. Dick spoke about innovation at Watershed at the informal networking event, where he introduced our delicious new conference menu, building on our ‘Plot to Plate’ mission. This means that all the food and drink Watershed serves, in the Café/Bar or at a conference, is sourced from people we know and trust across the South West.
Guests mingled with staff whilst enjoying the refreshed events spaces with views of Bristol's harbourside on a warm, balmy evening. The new Conferencing and Events menu has been designed by Exec Chef Oliver Pratt and his kitchen team - it offers imaginative choices, combining tasty, ethical, locally-sourced organic food and wine. Feedback from the guests has been very encouraging, with compliments to the chef: 'Beef Penang to die for!' 'the best cake I've ever tasted' 'the blueberry things (clafoutis) were astonishing' to the more general ' I really enjoyed everything, the food, the location, meeting your team and other guests'.

"It was wonderful to see our business clients and guests enjoying the spaces at Watershed, there was a real buzz. I am delighted with the response to our new seasonal menu so far and this networking event gave our valued conference clients and partners a chance to see what's new at Watershed and to taste Oliver's dishes. And as you can see here - we've had some truly excellent feedback!"
