Cinema Rediscovered 2022 Early Bird Passes Now on Sale
“Movies make magic. They change things” bell hooks (1952 – 2021)
Celebrate the return of the big screen experience at the 6th edition of Cinema Rediscovered (Wed 20 – Sun 24 July), Watershed’s annual festival showcasing brand new restorations, contemporary classics and film print rarities from around the globe, taking place in and around Bristol – a UNESCO City of Film – and online.
Early Bird Passes are now on sale, allowing you to make the most of Cinema Rediscovered at a much reduced price (£85 full / £65 concessions / £50 aged 24 and under).
Passes allow you to select (subject to availability) from the 50+ screenings and events taking place across the festival, and all Pass Holders will get a free three-month trial and tote bag from curated online film streaming platform MUBI.
The Early Bird Passes will be available until midnight on Tue 7 June (when they will then increase in price to £100 full / £80 concessions / £60 24 and under), so snap one up today. Early Bird Pass holders will also get 24 hours priority booking before the programme is on general sale.
"As we emerge from our isolating COVID bubbles, it is exciting to be reminded of the shared social experience of cinema and of the shared collective history of film. This year’s edition brings those two together in a five-day binge viewing of the classic, the unknown, the risqué, the thoroughly entertaining and the shapeshifting weird and wonderful.” Cinema Rediscovered Founder & Watershed Curator Mark Cosgrove
Cinema Rediscovered 2022 opens with the UK Premiere of a 4K restoration of David Lynch’s Lost Highway (1997) and closes with a 4K restoration of Kinuyo Tanaka’s intensely moving Forever a Woman (1955). Read more about the highlights, and register your interest in the programme.
There will be plenty for you to explore this July – get your Cinema Rediscovered Early Bird Pass now!
