Playable City, the global movement of playful city interventions that uses technology in creative ways to connect people to the places they live and work, is once again venturing into exciting new international territory.

Building on our work in Tokyo, Recife and of course closer to home in Bristol, the team are currently in Lagos, Nigeria in the middle of a ten day sprint that brings together a group of brilliant creative practitioners from Lagos and the UK to exchange ideas and develop new works that respond to the theme of the Playable City.

Lagos is one of Africa's fastest growing cities, and the group are currently in the thick of working up their ideas based around the various challenges and opportunities it brings.

A team from Watershed are in Lagos now reporting back from the Playable City Lagos: Clare Reddington, our Creative Director, David Haylock, our Creative Technologist, Hilary O'Shaughnessy, Playable City Producer and Louise Gardner, our Head of Communications. Have a look at their Storify below to see what's happening and stay up to date!
