We were delighted to pick up a Bronze Award in the 2014 regional Fairtrade Business Awards, sponsored by The Co-operative, at last week's ceremony at Bristol’s City Hall. The aim of the Awards is to increase sales of and support for Fairtrade amongst local businesses, by promoting businesses that support Fairtrade and encouraging others to do more.

General Manager James Taljaard and Executive Chef Oliver Pratt went along to collect our award, presented by ethical expert at The Observer and The Guardian, Lucy Siegle.
General Manager James says,
'I'm thrilled to accept this award on behalf of Watershed which recognises our commitment to Fairtrade. It's a pleasure to support such an important cause and I'm proud that so many Bristolians look out for the Fairtrade label.'
Executive Chef Oliver says,
'We've worked really hard to establish Watershed's ethical Plot to Plate ethos over the last few years and I'm absolutley delighted with this award. Thanks to our team for all their efforts and to Fairtrade Bristol.'
