Emma Boulton
Producer
Emma is a producer at the Pervasive Media Studio and part of the Research team. Her role is to support a collaborative programme of research and business to improve the performance of the creative industries in the region ensuring they continue to flourish.
Emma is the producer for Sandbox (part of MyWorld IDEAS), Playable City (Watershed), and Connecting Through Culture As We Age (University of Bristol). Previously, producer the 5th pathfinder for the Bristol and Bath Creative R+D.
Emma brings years of experience, both working internationally and with the UK creative industries, from her time enterprise lead at KWMC The Factory and as a British Council Arts Programme Manager. Situated within the Creative Economy team, she specialised in digital, tech and interactive and was a creative economy advisor for the Americas and South Asia.
Outside of Watershed, Emma is interested in games and the culture of games. She moderates for online games communities and streamers, and is a trustee for the experimental games festival Now Play This.
