I joined Watershed in 2004, establishing our creative technology programmes including Pervasive Media Studio and Playable City before taking up the position of CEO in 2018. Known as a leading cross-art form organisation, Watershed has demonstrated a track record of innovation and risk taking for over 40 years, and is recognised internationally as a leading centre for film culture, art and technology practice, and talent development. Though it is the intersections of these strands with our public venue that I find most interesting.

I became CEO just before covid and working with an amazing team have stewarded it though challenging times and out of the other side. I believe in values-led, hopeful and collaborative leadership, the importance of engaging with climate justice, and the power of bringing people together. 

I am a Visiting Professor at University of the West of England.  Chair of Emma Rice's Wise Children, and a trustee of of RSC and British Council.
