Five years ago Kisilu, a Kenyan farmer, started to use his camera to capture the life of his family, his village and the damages of climate change.
When a violent storm throws him and Norwegian filmmaker Julia Dhar together, we see Kisulu transform from a father, to a community leader and activist on the global stage including the 2015 United Nations Climate Change Conference.
Thank You For The Rain is a captivating story of a profound optimist, who pushes himself to the limits to fight for a greener safer world and explores a range of issues linked to climate change, including climate justice, urbanisation, gender equality, education, access to water, climate refugees, and how to adapt.
Followed by a panel discussion with:

Manu Maunganidze - Community Engagement Director, Bristol Green Capital Partnership
Monique Sapla - Extension Rebellion Inclusivity Advocate
Faith Abongo - Studying neuroscience at Cardiff University
