The latest from prolific provocateur Takashi Miike (13 Assassins, Audition, Ichi The Killer) is a brutal, bloody, and brilliantly OTT story about a boxer and a girl caught between the yakuza, the triads, and all-out anarchy.

Boxer Leo (Masataka Kubota) has discovered he has an inoperable brain tumour. With nothing to lose, he attempts to save troubled prostitute Yuri (Sakurako Konishi) from a crooked policeman and her drug addiction, and falls head over heels in love. What follows is a typically low-key, gentle night in Tokyo (erm...) involving severed heads, shoot outs, car chases, a huge bag of drugs, a modern-day samurai, and loads more excuses for bloody confrontations... prepare for love, laughs, and lots and lots of death.
