"Over the years the amount of films released into cinemas and available online has grown exponentially. Amidst the blockbusters and high profile names who dominate the market how do new filmmakers/new talent get seen? It is a real challenge. At Watershed we aim to platform and profile new British filmmaking talent. Adult Life Skills was one such example. We did a one-off screening with the director Rachel Tunnard and the response from the audience was so positive I brought it back. Not only was Rachel new to Watershed audiences but so was her wonderfully quirky lead Jodie Whittaker!"
