Throughout May, our friends Come the Revolution are hosting Sunday evening watching parties featuring some of the best Black Film & TV Netflix has to offer.

This Sun 17 May, Come the Rev curator and Ujima Radio DJ Adam Murray has selected horror icon George A. Romero's zombie apocalypse - Diary of the Dead as his pick.

The fifth in Romero's 'Living Dead' series which started more than 50 years ago, Diary of the Dead follows a group of students filming a low-budget horror film in the woods. When they hear reports of zombie sightings, they're determined to capture and disseminate the raw, unfiltered story to show the horrific truth they won't put on TV.

Head over to their Facebook page for more info on how to join - everyone's invited!

Come the Revolution is a collective of curators programmers and creatives from Bristol and Birmingham committed to exploring and challenging black life, experience and cultural expression through cinema. Visit www.cometherev.wordpress.com
