Join us for the first of our Conversations About Cinema - Thought in Action online panel discussions - when we will be talking about Gillo Pontecorvo's masterful The Battle of Algiers, one of the most influential political films in history.
The panel (chaired by Francesco Tava, Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at UWE Bristol) includes Julieta Chinchilla and Lucía Salas.
- Julieta Chinchilla is a historian, PhD candidate at the University of Buenos Aires, specialising in anti-colonial struggles in Northern African history
- Lucía Salas is a film critic, curator and filmmaker currently based in Spain
