Join us for the last of our Conversations About Cinema - Thought in Action online panel discussions - where we will be talking about Bacurau, a wild, weird and explosive mix of ultra-violent revenge western and futuristic sci-fi about a mythological Brazilian town that falls under attack from invading forces.
The panel, chaired by Mark Cosgrove, Watershed Cinema Curator, includes Bacurau directors Kleber Mendonça Filho and Juliano Dornelles, Dr. Cristina Voto, Adjunct Professor in Visual Communication at the University of Turin and Edward Hatton, UWE Philosophy student.
Watch Bacurau at your leisure on MUBI before the discussion. You can get three months of free access to MUBI by visiting mubi.com/watershed. MUBI have also recently introduced a discounted student membership for £5.99 per month for university students worldwide.
Conversations About Cinema - Thought in Action Online is a partnership between the Philosophy and Politics teams at UWE Bristol, Watershed and MUBI.
