On the shortest day of the year, we are teaming up with Encounters Festival to celebrate some of the unique Bristol voices that have emerged in 2021 through short films.

Revelling in the diverse and distinctive voices of the city, these two programmes (Part 2 screens at 20:10) will provide windows into the people, places and pastimes of those who call Bristol ‘home’.

Presented in partnership with BFI Network South West, Calling the Shots and Bristol UNESCO City of Film.

The short films in Part 1 include:

  • Pickney (dir: Michael Jenkins, UK, 2021, 15mins)
