"A lovely and haunted dream of a movie" New York Times

Acclaimed filmmaker Joanna Hogg's beguiling latest film is a brilliant and captivating spiritual successor to The Souvenir and The Souvenir Part II, which explores parental relationships and the things we leave behind. An artist and her elderly mother (both played by Tilda Swinton) confront long-buried secrets when they return to a former family home, now a hotel haunted by its mysterious past. Featuring two towering and deeply moving performances by Swinton, The Eternal Daughter is gothic mystery drama at its very best.
