Haus für Poesie presents a selection of the best films from the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival on the subject of “Poetry and Technology”.
The films being presented deal with topics such as artificial intelligence, algorithms and social media.
They ask how AI replaces humans in straightforward tasks and complicated ones. And how does a farm rebel against technology, the fulfilment of plans, where what it sees, thinks or feels is not important?
The films are based on poems by Jörg Piringer, Raed Wahesh and Yehuda Amichai, among others.
This event is part of the Lyra Bristol Poetry Festival which brings together local, national and international poets and speakers, representing Bristol as a centre of world class poetry.
