Dustin Hoffman gives an Oscar®-nominated performance as an unsuccessful actor who poses as a woman as he tries for a part in a hit TV series.
When Michael Dorsey (Hoffman) wins the role on the hospital soap, he relishes living as a woman. But the situation becomes farcical when he falls for a co-star, her Dad falls for ‘him’ and a fellow actor also wants his love.
The stellar cast also includes Jessica Lange, Geena Davis, Bill Murray and the film’s director Sydney Pollack.
