In this lunchtime talk, we'll hear from Queering AI, a queer collective based in Bristol who are interested in building, bringing down, and hacking technology. This will be the final talk in their Queering AI series. The team will share the co-created manifesto, reflect on their experiences from the past year, and present their discoveries.
Who are Queering AI?
Katy, Harriet and Francesco. Katy Dadacz (they/them) is a comparative literature PhD researcher at the University of Bristol, exploring glitch, affect theory and digital infrastructures.
Harriet Horobin-Worley (they/them) is a creative software engineer and artist- making interactive art, tools and apps inspired by low tech solutions.
Francesco Bentivegna (they/them) is an AI-voice artist and Lecturer in Digital Theatre at the University of Bristol.
