The Summer with Carmen is a sexy, sun-drenched romp with a hunky cast that celebrates the bonds of queer platonic friendship - and featuring a very cute dog.

While enjoying a day soaking up the sun at Athens’ gay beach, best friends Demos (Yorgos Tsiantoulas) and Nikitas (Andreas Labropoulos) brainstorm ideas for a film screenplay. Recalling the lively events of the summer where Demos reluctantly broke up with his ex Panos (Nikolaos Mihas), and consequently somehow gaining Panos' dog named Carmen, the pair discuss how they can turn Demos’ encounters into a 'hero’s journey'.

Taking a meta-approach to storytelling, The Summer with Carmen is a funny (and sexy) exploration of how gay men discern what they truly want while facing society's expectations.

Cinema seat widths
Our cinema seats are 46cm wide, with wooden armrests on either side of each seat that can’t be moved.
